Don't Call Me, Diana

1.
Welcoming my solitude, I can do this on my own. But your lips kiss my cheek as I trade my lover for a microphone. You're holding out for love. You're holding out for me. But you're getting in the way. Don't Call Me, Diana You gotta let me go. You're coming in too slow. You're getting in the way. Don't Call Me, Diana Burning off the altitude, I'm sliding on my own. But if it rains enough to break my fall, don't come for me. Because I am strong enough you know this, To get back up and write my story.
2.
Confusing all the spaces in our heads we think are brave, for old intangibles we used to bet in games of life, love, and everything in between. But not giving up on our sense of individually creating our abilities to make ourselves believably insane. We're not messing around. But take a minute, You're quite unremarkable. You're quite unremarkable. But you are quite sensational, When the bullet hits your brain. Believing that our issues are improperly arranged, from a point of view that cannot be contained, like God's, the government's, and everyone in between. But not giving up on our sense of inability to give ourselves validity that leaves us inconceivably deranged. We're not taking stand. But just remember honey, You're quite unremarkable.
